Diplopia - Double Vision - Eye Conditions
Double vision or diplopia, is experienced when two images of a single object is being viewed. This eye condition is also known as "ghost images" and the images can be perceived vertically, horizontally, or diagonally. Temporary double vision caused by injury or intoxication by alcohol or other pharmaceuticals is usually temporary. If the condition causes pain or if it prolongs for long period of time you should seek help from an eye care physician immediately.
